Perched on steep terraces composed mainly of desert sandstone and volcanic slate, this vineyard nurtures primarily Riesling vines. The base wine undergoes a meticulous aging process, spending six months in large acacia wood barrels to enhance its maturity. In the spring of 2019, the wine was transferred to the bottle for its second fermentation, a crucial step in the creation of Sekt. The winemakers strive to prolong the aging process on the fine lees for as long as possible, aiming to achieve a delicate mousseaux and accentuate the unique elegance and minerality of this special vineyard site.
