Itinerary
Pick you up in Mainz (places outside of greater Mainz area may be subject to supplement). Enjoy the quickly changing scenery and chat to your guide about Germany's wine regions, wine culture and history.
- Tasting at Weingut Dr. Loosen (or similar): You will be tasting an 6-9 Mosel Riesling flight - with full explanation of the vineyards, the soils and the fascinating characteristics of the Riesling grape varietal.
- Lunch at a former Monastery: Enjoy a freshly cooked lunch with delicious local classics - in the beautiful surroundings of a former monastery. Want to refresh with a locally brewed beer? That's your chance before we resume our wine journey.
- Tasting at a family run winery: As always for private tour customers, we will make an appointment for a tasting at a family run winery. Enjoy another flight of wines that represent Mosel (think of Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Elbling, Pinot Noir). This is the moment to ask any question that cropped up during the day - your host will be able to give you the most detailed answers.
- Return and drop off in Mainz: Time will have flown by - relax as you will be taken home safely in the comfort of our luxury van.
