The dynamic and modern character of Bodegas Javier San Pedro Ortega is not at odds with the uniqueness of our wines and vineyards.
The project arose from the idea of making wines from old Laguardia vineyards and that is why it is said that La Taconera is the origin of everything: an unique vineyard, planted in 1920, is one of our 8 municipal wines. With vineyards that are more than 20 years old the Viuda Negra winesare maid, also there are young vines currently producing the Cueva de Lobos range of wines. The winery seeks balance in the plant and interfere as little as possible with its natural process, eliminating the use of herbicides and systemic products.
Bodegas Amezola de la Mora is an iconic castle in La Rioja, one of Spain's most renowned wine regions. This family property embodies a centuries-old history dedicated to the art of viticulture. Founded generations ago, the winery has thrived thanks to the dedication of the Amezola family and the exceptional quality of its wines, which have gained an international reputation. Today, the fifth generation, the Amezola sisters, run the winery with passion, becoming in 1999 the youngest winemakers in Spain. Their blend of contemporary innovation and respect for tradition has allowed Bodegas Amezola de la Mora to continue producing exceptional wines, while preserving the family wine heritage.
Bohedal is a family project that emerged at the beginning of the last century, in 1917, when Don José Bezares inherited part of the vineyards that supply us today.
Love to viticulture, vineyards and learning from the production methods of the ancestors, the winery respects the characteristics of Rioja wines and disseminates this knowledge.
Therefore, after several years of studies and visits to other pioneering regions in wine tourism, the Bohedal team went further and decided to open the doors to wine lovers 20 years ago. The efforts have been awarded the "Best of Wine Tourism" for innovation in 2019. Being avant-garde and one of the first Family Wineries in Rioja to offer these services to both national and foreign tourists.
