A major selection of mature and collectible wines from Pomerol has entered the market through French wine merchant SoDivin, offering bottles spanning more than six decades and highlighting the enduring global demand for one of Bordeaux’s most prestigious appellations.
The newly circulated stock list includes wines from the legendary 1961 vintage through to 2022 releases, with prices ranging from accessible mature bottles to highly sought-after labels from some of Pomerol’s most iconic estates, including Petrus, Château Lafleur, and Vieux Château Certan.
The offering reflects the continued strength of the secondary fine wine market, where collectors and enthusiasts increasingly seek rare mature Bordeaux wines with proven aging potential and strong provenance.
Petrus Leads the High-End Selection
Among the most expensive bottles listed are several vintages from Petrus, one of the world’s most recognized and collectible wines.
A 2016 Petrus is offered at EUR 4,500 before tax, while a 2017 vintage is priced at EUR 3,208.33 before tax. Older bottles also feature prominently in the selection, including a 1994 Petrus listed at EUR 2,575 and a 1997 Petrus priced at EUR 2,500 before tax.
The stock list also includes prestigious labels from other top estates in the appellation. A 1986 bottle from Château Lafleur is offered at EUR 854.17 before tax, while a 2003 Lafleur appears at EUR 729.17. Meanwhile, a 1989 bottle from Château Clinet is priced at EUR 708.33 before tax.
These wines represent some of the most collectible expressions of Merlot-dominant Bordeaux and continue to attract strong international demand from private collectors, restaurants, and wine investment buyers.
Mature Bordeaux Remains Highly Sought After
Beyond the top-tier prestige wines, the list also includes a wide range of more accessible mature Pomerol bottles.
Examples include a 2010 bottle from Clos René priced at EUR 58.33 before tax, a 1998 Château Bellegrave at EUR 65, and a 1974 Château de Sales offered at EUR 75 before tax.
The availability of older vintages at relatively moderate prices highlights the diversity of the Pomerol market, where lesser-known estates can still provide mature Bordeaux experiences at accessible entry points for enthusiasts and collectors.
Several wines are also available in notable quantities, including 24 bottles of 2022 Certan de May, 22 bottles of 1997 Latour à Pomerol, and 19 bottles of 1986 L’Évangile.
Pomerol’s Reputation Continues to Drive Demand
Although relatively small in size compared with other Bordeaux appellations, Pomerol remains one of the most influential and closely followed wine regions in the world.
The appellation is particularly known for its Merlot-based wines, which combine richness, texture, aromatic complexity, and exceptional aging potential. Many of the region’s top wines can evolve for several decades, making mature vintages especially attractive in the secondary market.
The current SoDivin offering illustrates this long-term aging capability, with bottles covering more than sixty years of Bordeaux history and including both legendary vintages and more overlooked years that may offer value opportunities for collectors.
Fine Wine Market Continues to Emphasize Provenance and Service
SoDivin stated that all wines are photographed and described in detail, with high-definition bottle images available online or provided upon request. The company also offers express shipping options, specialized protective packaging, and same-day dispatch for qualifying orders.
Based in Aigues-Vives, the merchant has specialized in mature wines and rare vintages since 2001, reflecting the growing professionalization of the global fine wine resale and collector market.
As demand for provenance-certified mature Bordeaux continues to expand internationally, curated selections such as this one demonstrate the enduring appeal of aged Pomerol wines among collectors, sommeliers, and long-term wine investors.
