Moldova’s wine industry started 2025 on a strong note, with significant growth in export volume and value.

In terms of value, exports amounted to USD 15.2 million, reflecting a 10% year-over-year growth.

Market Outlook
The strong performance in January 2025 signals continued momentum for Moldovan wine exports. The significant rise in bulk and sparkling wine exports showcases Moldova’s growing reputation in the international wine market. However, the decline in dessert wines highlights the need for strategic adjustments in positioning and marketing. As Moldova strengthens its global wine footprint, future trends will depend on market dynamics, trade agreements, and evolving consumer preferences.
With consistent growth in exports and diversification across global markets, Moldova remains a key player in the international wine industry, poised for another successful year in 2025.
