This paper delves into Khareba's multifaceted approach to wine production, exploration of unique terroirs, and dedication to quality.

Portfolio Diversity and Quality

Winery Khareba strategically allocates 75% of its vineyards to Eastern Georgia, predominantly in the renowned Kakheti region. This region, known as the cradle of Georgian winemaking, offers ideal terroirs and climatic conditions for grape cultivation. The remaining 25% of Khareba's vineyards are distributed across Western Georgia, encompassing the diverse regions of Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi, and Samegrelo.

Under the expert guidance of Chief Winemaker Vladimer Kublashvili, Winery Khareba presents a diverse portfolio that reflects the wealth and depth of Georgian viticulture. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, Khareba offers an array of wines crafted from unique vine varieties and traditional methods, ensuring a rich tapestry of flavors and styles to captivate even the most discerning palates. From premium selections to Qvevri wines and beyond, Khareba's portfolio showcases the diversity and quality that define Georgian winemaking.

Winery Khareba boasts a diverse portfolio that epitomizes the richness of Georgian viticulture. With up to 10 premium wines, 7 appellations of origin, 10 Qvevri wines, and more than 15 vine varieties, Khareba offers a spectrum of flavors and styles to satisfy the most discerning palates. Additionally, the inclusion of 5 types of basic wines underscores Khareba's commitment to accessibility without compromising quality. The company's production extends beyond wines to include sparkling wine, wine brandy, chacha, and grape seed oil, totaling over 50 types of products crafted from up to 30 grape varieties.

Among the notable grapes grown by Khareba are Saperavi, Rkatsiteli, Mtsvane, Krakhuna, Tsolikouri, Tsitska, Aladasturi, and Otskhanuri Sapere, which represent the rare and indigenous Georgian varieties. Additionally, European classics such as Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Aligote, Muscat, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot find a nurturing home in winery, though these international grapes form 5% of total vineyards.

Integration of Tradition and Modernity

At the heart of Winery Khareba's operations lie its state-of-the-art wineries in Terjola (Imereti, West Georgia) and Vachnadziani (Kakheti, East Georgia). Equipped with cutting-edge technology, these modern cellars marry European winemaking techniques with authentic Georgian traditions. Here, the highest quality products are meticulously crafted, blending the precision of European technology with the soulful essence of the Qvevri winemaking method. French oak barrels further enrich the aging process, allowing Khareba's winemakers to produce premium quality aged wines that exemplify complexity and refinement.
